Very smooth beat you have there, Emma. You really need to get back to making some music. I don't like seeing these two groovy songs left alone because of decisional absence. I know you can spend a few hours here and there to piece together another song! :(

The ending shouldn't have been there, haha. I know why people voted this down. I was hoping this would loop and it would go on and on forever. But, instead of enjoying the view of a suburban city for ever, it ends up with some intrusive SFX around the end. It really, well, kills the mood. That is like having sex with your mate, and right when you are near climax, the phone rings.

Emma responds:

Newgrounds is generally a terrible place to get positive or helpful feedback without bias, and many users 0-bomb the hell out of submissions for no apparent reason.

Anyway, the ending is meant to be there :) I may make a loop later on, but this is the version I intended.

This was a very interesting take on Spyro. I've always loved the PS1 :D Spyro is one of those memorable games that should've stayed classic. I personally can't stand all of the sequels, haha. I really liked this. You seem to be already producing quality sounds. Why did you only make 2 songs? Grr... >_>

Very nice, cheery and overall it is like stepping into that enchanted world of Spyro's.

The bass is a bit rough for me. : ( I do wish it was less intrusive. Overall. I enjoyed it. :D

The piano's emitting ominous sound, the light strokes of keys that come in later in this dark mixture of carnival-esque insanity, the transitions and all of its distorted glory is what makes this piece so simply dark. I really enjoyed this piece regardless of your so called ''dissonant chording''. It isn't dissonant if I appreciate the chaotic sound. : )

5/5 10/10 I enjoyed it.

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

Dissonance is a wonderful thing after all! Glad you enjoyed it!

( Super happy belated birthday. :(
KKSlider60 responds:

Haha, thanks :3

I have never cared too much for having a perfectly EQ'd song. I have always personally enjoyed the slight distortion and distance a slightly Eq'd song gives off. It presents this radiant, abstract stream of such beautiful gratification that makes the piece feel so authentic and real. I can not feel this muddy, realistic feeling I completely adore in any ''professional'' songs. Sometimes, being too perfect is what takes away the purpose and genuine feeling of life in the sounds we create, I think personally.

5/5 I really enjoyed this. Well done. : )

ZuneInc responds:

Thanks :) we seem to enjoy very much of the same attributes in music. The Sweet rawness and distortion gives the song much of the shape and personality.

Two wolves running across an opened tundra,
a sky filled with such grace and creativity;
an atmosphere so cold, yet so warm,
a world filled with life and voided depravity.

An everlasting image of love and passion,
replaying itself a new beginning an ending;
together these two wolves continued to run,
running free from all restrictions and heart-wrenching.

This wolf that continues to run next to me,
will be the same wolf I see 50 years from now;
her strong will and her piercing eyes,
forever and ever I ask myself ''How?''.

The paths we've merged towards the horizon,
the trials that we've trampled on through;
the energy and persistence that kept us going,
this light, love, and creation I continue to share with you.

5/5 The poem elaborates how beautiful and inspiring your simple sound design is. I'm glad that we inspire you with our sheer passion for each other. Thank you for composing such a delicate and strong world for me to enter. It correlates subtly with the strength and impregnable structure that encompasses her and I's wall of chemistry.

A Song Dedicated To Me? ^^

It's very majestic, bro. It does a fine job representing my philosophical trips to slowly put this world's genuine pieces together the best that I can.

It's subtly brilliant just like me. 5/5 10/10

The atmosphere represents the shrouded mystery before me.

The voices represent the inner world's language.

The percussion represents life, and it's noticable absence.

The flute represents progress, further development, discoveries.. Redemption.

The end - beginning represents one of the endless examples of the perpetual evolution of our minds.

Life is monotonous in a state of evolution. Humans are monotonous in the state of inertia. This world world continues to change without us in all it's fundamental beauty.

KKSlider60 responds:

Every single instrument is a journey in its own right, and every sound is the very essence of life. It's a continuum of experiences, information, exchanges, an intricate network of thoughts and emotions. In my eyes, the mist can have a double effect: it protects us from the void of ignorance generated by others' fears, and it tells us to not go beyond where is superfluous and useless. It's elemental, because it's essential and pure, it is not an artifact from our dark desires, and it permeates anybody's mind. Thank you for every single word you just wrote :3

A sky castle in the midst of temptation. A ground's shadow casted; filled with gracious mystery. Watching, reflecting from above and below. Travelling slowly across the blue ocean. A shadow distilled in reverse, returning back to it's wavering advocate. It begins to spin, as the world around you begins to move to a mysterious music playing from the castle.. You faint, and the sound gets detailed.. starts to shake everything around you.. Clouds shifting in patterns.. buildings defying the laws of physics, dancing in turn.. The grass changing to all sorts of colours.. Music, that allows us to become our own drug-esque, sentient form of non-existence existing in a state of perpetual absence.. In mortal bliss, as an immortal substance; essence of life..

KKSlider60 responds:

Thank you for your beautiful visions ;D
They really enhance the whole "suburban" experience.

What?

Mbeavitt had to be listening to the wrong song. I personally didn't like the introduction, and loved it from 1:20 from that point on. That was a very subtle drop you had there.

It has a very slow-motion chaotic feel to it, and I find that interesting. Since everyone rises through our imaginary realm of time, and this black hearted world that wasn't built with beating hearts.. but hungry egos; monsters.

5/5 10/10. It's a very intensely, subtly piece of work that changes alot throughout the song to represent progress.

Well done. ^^

AKACCMIOF responds:

Thanks very much, very glad you enjoyed it :)
