It's there, but is it working?

Having eyes does not mean you see all. Having a brain does not mean you think of everything. Having a heart does not mean you are experiencing the entirety of each moment. Our body is a perplexing mystery as far as the universe goes, and constantly convincing ourselves of having self-understanding is only going to drive ourselves further away from the raw truth: it's not the idea that we know nothing which stops us from understanding the world .-. it's asking whether or not the world even has a universal language, or that life can be defined behind enough colors to question the idea of creating our own colorful understanding of what we've registered insofar as our lives have gone and how optimal we were at picking up that information .-. then we will no longer have the need to wish upon ourselves to strive for an imaginary concept... perfection.

That's really deep, man. For me, music is the universal language that keeps me connected to the world. Speaking of music, may I ask why you removed "Discovery" from the site? It's a great track that I found recently through Xmillsa, but I can't download it anywhere anymore. I am willing to pay you money for it if you put it up on iTunes/Bandcamp. ;)

Music is a preference as much as anything else. There are people that do not like any music. It's not universal .-. it's reflective in a linear way that ables itself to touch many people in the same way for different reasons. This is because music has to do with sounds .-. sounds are vibrations, such as a spider's web .-. these vibrations only have so many branches to follow when they meet us, and so there are only so many emotions we can touch when listening to sounds, while the complexing areas are found only in our personal experiences.

I am the most inconsistent musician out there. I will reupload the song free of charge. There's no sense in making people pay for a song that was already up at one time, and probably will only be the only song that I've made worth buying.

Thanks a lot, man. ;) You're clearly a very humble and reasonable person, which is awesome. Wish I had time to respond to all of your philosophical insights...maybe over holiday vacation next week. XD ...also, don't be so pessimistic about your future tracks. If your music inspires at least one person, it should be worth it to keep producing, right? And I happen to know that it's inspired at least 157. ;D

I'm really an asshole, to be honest.

Why are you always so negative about yourself (or was that a joke)? You clearly have a lot going for you: you're (presumably) young, you're meaningfully contributing to an amazing web community (NG), you're clearly well-educated, you have people who care about you (at least 157). What more do you need? Perfection is an imaginary concept, that's true, but happiness is still much more important, right? What does happiness mean to you, Insanctuary?

Well I'm not humble, so all that's left is to be an asshole. Ask anyone, and you'll come to find that nobody has created a middle ground for this set of circumstances. I can laugh in this world, but I wouldn't say that happiness is obtainable in a world like this. Most will be honest about how empty they feel beneath their convincing positives, but it's quite silly that it comes to be always manageable to reveal our situation as a blind person twirling in a den of demons. It's still a jungle out there, but it's concealed and well hidden. To answer your question, there's no genuine happiness in a world that is falling out. All that is created is false security to prevent ourselves from having to face the ill-reactions we've created.
